Simple yet Significant

Fall is here and so are a new set of colors, fabrics and patterns, yet does any of that matter? Not as much as you think.  Yes the colors do change; such as they do this year sporting yellows, oranges and purples to go with the grey, dark blue or dark brown.  Yes different and appropriate fabrics and patterns emerge again such as plaid or cashmere, yet remember, what matters most about your clothing is not them, but you.   

     Your confidence is the game changer. Having a simple ensemble and wearing that with confidence isn’t boring, but striking because it’s your attitude or personality that gives it life.  Have you ever seen two people wear the same thing, or drive the same car and one is really appealing, yet the other is just there?  It’s a person’s attitude, confidence and presence that sets them apart.  Just like a leader to a team, the most significant thing someone can do while out and about is feel self -confident.  

     

     So next time, when you look at a suit or jacket doesn’t really stand out to you, stop and think to yourself, Do I need this to stand out or can I make it stand out.  Always remember that being simple can be significant.
