Can You Judge a Man by His Shoes?
Can
You Judge a Man by His Shoes?
It’s one of the first things that women
and employers look at when he walks in the room. If they are scuffed, matching the wrong
laces, or the wrong style its shows he has no attention to detail. Make sure you show pride in your appearance
and not sacrificing at your shoes. It
can be confusing with so many different styles of shoe out there, but here are
a few ways to select the right pair of shoes for you.
Simple
Don’t Be A Square:
The shape of your shoes can tell a lot about you and your style. Shoes
should be sleek and as appealing as the rest of your wardrobe. Square shoes look bulky and enlarge your
feet. The square shoes were a fashion
fad that has come and hopefully gone for good.
I know that large feet are a sign of certain things, but not in this
way. A nice round tip in always looks
stylish and will maintain your masculinity.
If you need wider shoes, get them in that style for most styles has
them. The best style to represent this:
Wingtips. Always a simple classic look,
that will last in any season without a fashion or style expiration date.
Sophisticated
Rubber Sole: For
those who walk a lot, or need a bit more cushion on their toes, the rubber sole
is perfect for you. If made well, they
are lighter, way more comfortable and much better for rainy or harsh weather
conditions. The added bonus is rubber
soles are much quieter than others. It’s
ok to be thick but not so much as it makes you look like you are on
stilts. The only downfall is that when
the rubber sole is gone, thus your shoes.
The Boot: Why let women have all the winter fun? Boots are a great way to maintain style, and
yet give a different look to your outfit.
They are great for winter weather, and keeping yourself dry. Make sure that they are fairly streamlined
and not to bulky. Leather is a must for
these, and suede if you can pull it off.
Classic
Black Lace Up: If
there is one pair of shoes every man should have is the black lace up. It is the most universal style of shoe out
there. Great for business, formal and
casual events and carries as it has for years a level of class. Looks great with slacks, jeans and in some
cases linen pants.
