Valentine's Day Little Snack Gift

Now that you have the right flower picked out, how to make that special person’s Valentine’s Day different than the others? Give a little present for her in the form of a snack.  A confused look may come across your face, and the question arises, what do you mean little present in the form of a snack?   

In today’s world of courting, a lot of the little things have been pushed by the wayside, and they go for the typically roses and chocolates, however that little gift should be a nice snack that you two share after your evening together or something that she can enjoy the next day, thus she will be thinking of you.  Bypass the chocolates, because she may think its thoughtful, however its not something she will appreciate because it has been done before.  Here are a few ideas for that little gift she will love.

Macaroons. These light bundles of perfection are a simple way to express that you care about that special someone.  They come in different shapes and sizes, flavors and textures.  Not one disappoints those who love them.  With a resent surge in places that carry them, it will not be difficult to find some.  The best part is that they are reasonable in price, so a dozen or half of a dozen are plenty and look great in a small box along side those Gerber daisies.

Crème Brulee.  Being one of the most flavorful and delightful desserts out there, crème brulee, if made right, is a concert to your taste buds.  There are a great arrangement of flavors ranging from green tea and pistachio to lemon and the favored, vanilla.  It can be difficult to find one of the upmost quality, having the custard melt by the touch and the “burnt cream” top crisp like a spring morning, however, this will surely show that you have done your homework for the woman who is a connoisseur of desserts.  This is best to have after the meal and is ok to have it brought out from the restaurant.  The best restaurants have them.  You can also take a romantic stroll and visit an establishment who does have it on the menu for dessert.

Classic

Cupcake.  From the beginning of baking, the cupcake has made its presence among desserts.  With being small in size and large in flavor, the cupcake has so many options it’s amazing.  The softness of the cake, smooth and fairly rich frosting and surprising center filling make this a perfect companion to any Tulip.  In recent years, there has been an explosion of cupcake places that are on par with great products.  Just make sure you choose the right one.  One thing is for sure, a cupcake is the cutest little food gift that you can give and the right flavor will help contribute to a much more enjoyable night, either out on the town, or back at your humble abode.
